Connector for auxiliary port

Yes the turn signal. Because of Brexit we call them indicators now. It was one of the big advantages of leaving the EU...🤣.

Anyway, UK R7s don't have running lights so as I understand it the spare connector here has three wires whilst the two wire connector you have pictured is actually connected up on a UK bike.

I think the "turn signals" use a switched negative/ground so the power will always appear to be on at the connector when checking with a multimeter. Easily checked I suppose by checking continuity of the black wire to ground with the turn signal on?
 
That’s probably the connection for the quick shifter. It’s on the left side and it’s usually taped.
Could be, but I think the QS wires are different colours. I'm sure 2handsfreehead will figure it out whatever it is 👍
