You would expect a $700 plus dollar exhaust from these guys would actually fit..

I was laying under the bike trying to fit it for at least 20 minutes thinking I had to get it juust right when I finally had enough and placed it next to the oem exhaust to compare.
I've heard of this from other people too. They managed to muscle it in place. I agree with you though, they need to be a bit closer than that picture shows for the money spent.
Hey @Rider7.
It sucks to deal with ill-fitting parts but did you manage to get the exhaust mounted properly?
Mine mounted right up. The cross tube is really just a guide, the pipes spread apart that last little bit very easy. Place one, then placed the other. The fairing removal and reinstall took longer than removing the old and placing the new. Maybe I was just lucky.

Mine wasn’t moving when I got it, maybe just the finish on the pipe “glued” it together, I took some ratchet straps to it, made a nice pop sound and then it moved pretty easily. But yes I did get it to fit and it sounds beautifully

Yes, I love the new sound.
Did you get an ECU flash for it? If not wouldn't you be worried about damage to the motorcycle without it?
It wasn't flashed for about a week and it ran fine. There was no flash then, too new.
I just installed this exhaust system yesterday. Sounds amazing. Heck, I might end up putting the DB reducer in... maybe.

I had the same exact issue with the header pipes. Luckily, I was able to spread them out further with my hands. They budged at the small cross tube giving me the clearance I needed. The install instructions suck though. They’re real basic and don’t provide many pics. No torque specs, just “torque to mfg.’s specs.” Removing and reinstalling the fairings took longer than the actual exhaust install.
I installed mine with no difficulties whatsoever
So far so good

I ended up putting the DB Killer in, no change in power and a bit better on the ears.

Does the R77 full exhaust come with the DB killer or was it a seperate purchase?

Yes, the DB killer is included with the R77 exhaust.
Honestly, don’t put the DB killer in it. It’s not that loud as some Harley’s out there. I’ve seen a far better improvement overall when taking it on the streets. Drivers will know you are there/coming up.
