Yoke Nut issues

Hello all,
Did anyone use the Pro-Bolt Yoke Nut recommendation and the nut didn’t fit? (See pics) anyone know a different Yoke Nut or should I return the current one and get a new one that should fit?

I cannot tell the issue from those pic, except maybe it looks a little too big? If so, that is not right. A 22MM x 1.00 should screw right on snug, like every other normal nut would screw on.

The nut I got basically was too big and didn’t screw on. I bought the recommended nut but I guess I got sent the wrong size for the bike

OK, that's what I was seeing then. A bit too big. Very strange. I wonder what uses a 23mm nut? 🤷‍♂️
Maybe 24mm. 23 doesn't sound like a common size.
I didn't think so either but the space did not seem very large at all, it was difficult to pick up in the pics that the nut was too big, it wasn't much. but definitely enough. But what's a mm between friends?
A 23mm nut should screw onto a 22mm thread because it's less than 22mm across the peaks of its threads. A 24mm nut would slip right over the threads because its peaks are more than 22mm across.

Does it screw on loosely or slip past the threads?
