I'm unsure which kind of levers to get for the bike, has anyone found good aftermarket levers?
Should we be looking at 2017+ R6 aftermarket levers, or MT-07 Levers?
Maybe someone experienced could help us, as the stock levers, seem to be far for some people including me :^(

Also I spoke with someone from RSM, his lever will fit, but it isn't adjustable from my understanding :[

Here's the email I received from him

"The Universal spec RSC lever will work great on your R7! Any lever length or style. Unfortunately, I do not manufacture any brake levers for hydraulic applications. Let me know if you have any other questions.
🍻

For the brake it needs to be a Brembo compatible radial brake lever, they connect to and actuate the master cylinder different that other brands. The R7 has brand new master cylinder, the specs for it do not seem to be listed anywhere yet and I saw no markings on the master. I have a Brembo RCS-19 on another bike, when I have time I'll take the lever off it and see how it fits and functions on the R7.

That would be sick man, much appreciated

R6 and R7 use the same clutch lever but brake lever is new. I think part numbers that begin with BEB (like the brake lever) is R7 specific so far. Yamaha might use it for future models.
Do you know if its 2016 and before r6's? or 2017+ R6's
Or no difference at all?

I bought the Gilles Tooling levers for my FZ 07 after seeing them at the motorcycle show one year and they are absolute bomb!! They aren't cheap but holy god are they awesome. I didn't think levers could make such a difference and feel so damn sexy!! Luckily I kept those levers when I sold my FZ for the R7 so the clutch side fits up perfectly. I'm still waiting & praying they make one for the brake side. 🤞

Yes, that lever should work just fine.
You might wanna leave the BREMBO master cylinder setup that's stock on the R7. That's top of the line quality and if you need to replace it for shorter lever or some that are more adjustable, Brembo makes them for that specific master cylinder and the clutch side. I can post a link if you need it. Just becareful mounting those CRG levers, I had them on my last bike and they were great but this R7 is stock with a Brembo setup so 🤷

That's the brake side that you're talking about. The question was about the clutch lever. You are spot on though, it's nice to have that Brembo brake MC!!

The 2021 MT07 OEM levers have different part #'s than earlier models but the only difference is that they're black so I ordered them for my Bolt C-Spec which came with silver ones. As a bonus, the MT brake lever has an adjuster that mine doesn't have.

To be sure I'm understanding correctly... the 2021 MT07 brake levers are black and adjustable? Do you mean it can move closer to the bar?

I much prefer the black for looks, but I primarily want to be able to bring the lever closer... and am having a hard time finding Brembo brake levers that are adjustable in that way. (Like the CRG clutch lever linked above.)
