Tire Wheel Sky Fuel tank Vehicle

Everyone has that one bike in their ownership history that drove them nuts. Whether it was from constantly breaking down or not living up to expectations after buying it.

What was that bike(s) for your? I had a Ninja 300 that constantly overheated at the worst possible times. If that wasn't happening it was a thirsty bike at the pump.

I had a 1992 Yamaha V-Max for 15 years. Bought it new.
I enjoyed it for the motor but the brakes and suspension were horrific. And I could only go about 90 miles between fillups.

I didn't realize at the time it was the worst bike. Once I bought proper sportbikes that handled and braked properly, that's when I realized how terrible that bike was.

I have had quite a few motos, but none that were less than great.

One moto, (about 10 years ago), an ‘06 Husqvarna 510 SuperMoto, was one potent engine, and a blast in the corners. (Built at MV Águsta In Italy).

Yet, every time I changed the oil & filters, I would find chunks of metal in the oil. I sold it before it blew up. :censored:

I had an '07 SMR510 and LOVED that bike, despite its 60 mile range on a tank. Wouldn't call it a bad bike and I didn't have problems with metal shavings in the oil.

For me, I'd say the Aprilia Tuono was the worst bike. Power was underwhelming for it's size, vibrated a lot at low speeds and kept blowing rectifiers/batteries/stators. I replaced all the electrical stuff on it several time and was still unreliable. I sold it and made $2700 off it, so it was a great bike in that regard, but otherwise a bike I wouldn't buy again.

@sparky80 yea that SMR was a rip in the corners, really helped wt getting the rear loose and pushing it. The chunks of metal concerned me, but the new owner was tearing it down for SM racing regardless.
