New rotors might be something I end up doing but I’m wondering if I’ll be doing myself a disservice by sticking with the stock ones for a bit and save some cash.

For those that have done a few days on the stock rotors… any warping or other issues?

The stock rotors work fine, the big advantage is in reduced rolling weight.

Thanks. Good to know. I had read/heard that the stock N400 front rotor warps pretty quickly and was worried Yamaha had made similar cost-saving trade offs with the R7.

You hopefully aren't building up that much heat in them. I changed for the weight savings only, then used blue'ish titanium bolts.

The bolts look good. It’s hard to match that Yamaha purpley blue but that gets close. I see you went with Galfer. I might start a new thread about the stock rotor dimensions as I’ve seen people on here buy rotors of various models and ODs but I’m not certain what PCD etc we have on stock wheels.
