Hi, I got my R7 on 07/08/21. 2 days later I had it at the track. Upgrades I have so far are vortex clip ons, woodcraft frame sliders from Mt-07, quick turn or 1/4 throttle from R6, Rk 520 chain with driven 15 tooth front sprocket and driven 44 tooth rear sprocket from Mt-07, Danos quickshifter GP shifter pattern. This quickshifter is cheaper than stock and its has stock CONNECTER!!! Also installed the light weight wheel spacers. Exhaust, race fairings and ecu flash soon to come far track season is over. I have my videos from track on YouTube Robt elbombero check them out.

Congrats on your new R7 @EL_BOMBERO! Welcome to the forum! Do you have any photos of your bike you can share? What were you riding before?

My R7 is track only as well, how do you like the quick turn throttle? Are you using the R6 Motion Pro one? I am thinking of doing the same. What's your home track?

G2 quick throttle. Works perfect and easy as hell to put on. No mods. And home track in NJMP Thunderbolt or NyST

I haven't ridden on street since about 6 years now. So I'll list all my track bikes. 2019 Suzuki sv650rr, 2015 KTM RC390, 1992 NSR250 MC21, 2006 Kawasaki ZX636r, 2004 Honda CBR1000RR, 2000 Honda RC51, and my first bike was 1999 Yamaha R6.

I'd like a Motion Pro Rev 2 throttle on the R7, I have them on the R1 and R6. The only difference between models is the really the cable length (ends should be the same), the throttle assembly part is the same. They do not seem too concerned with putting an R7 kit out quick, I have talked them. I should pull it off the R6 and see it the length is acceptable on the R7. I wish they had a simple chart showing cable lengths, it would be a done deal. That was two months ago though, I'll check now..... Nope, still only list dirt bikes for 2022.
The cable length differences are insignificant. There's more adjustment at the TB if you need to adjust the slack. I put an R6 tube on a bike the had the same one as the R7 and the slack didn't change enough to readjust anything. The aftermarket tubes shouldn't be any different and they'll probably just specify the same part number when they do offer it for the R7.

thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching. I'm not doing it to become famous or make money. Just want it for memories, and show my son how cool I was!! 😂😂😂😂
