Sorry for the late reply it controls how much air your engine gets, im in Australia we have two different models of the 7 here and I purchased the restricted vision purely on money i had available so now I’m doing a couple things to make it a little better this being one of them

Yep, the LAMS throttle restrictor plate only allows the throttle to only to 66%.
