Sharkskinz or race bodywork install question

For those who have done race or track bodywork what did you do about rectifier relocation? And is my assumption that the lower not fitting due to stock exhaust correct? Doesn’t seem to clear the cat

Yes, thank you! I couldn't figure out how to delete my comment lol . Turns out it was the rectifier location as discussed so much in this forum, it just took me a minute to understand what that meant. So thankful for the picture that SeptemberToob shared because this was all so foreign to me. Almost got my first set of race fairings on by myself and pretty excited 😊
Thank you again

Yeah as you noted we’ve all been through the process of finding a home for that guy.

Ok, quick question.... how important is it to take off the front headlight housing? The race fairing will fit with it on so I was just curious.

ABSOLUTLEY, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE IT OFF. ALL HAVE STOCK CONNECTORS AND ARE EASY TO REMOVE

Hopefully this is my last question, and its probably a silly one. What is the hole on top of the seat fairing for? I genuinely can't figure this one out

There should be a brace that comes thru that area to screw to???
This bracket goes underneath. And a small screw goes from tail section to that bracket.

I'll have to check that out. I'm still waiting to see pricing on the GYTR parts that Yamaha teased. I'd like to swap the fairing stay which would make getting that upper on a little easier since it wouldn't have those tabs for where the headlight mounts. Have all winter though.

I did get my lower fitted, everything was spot on there too. For now I just pulled the exhaust completely. Everything has to come back off anyway to start the paint process.

What were the mounting points when you mounted the lower. Especially on the left side. Could you post a couple of pics.

Sharkskinz tank cover has just arrived. It looks great. Dont know if I'm going to put it on this season, since I just finished painting the stock stuff.

PopShadow Decals and Vehicle Wraps you'll have to contact her and ask for a price I don't recall how much she charged for these. They weren't part of the standard kit. Also be sure to let her know that you want the transparent background. Also I have an SVG file that is very close if you wanted to use that and just send it to a local vinyl shop. If so PM me your email I can't upload it here with the .svg extension. View attachment 441
