Anyone that has swapped the rear shock out? if you did, was it a good upgrade? I know of the track most folks would want the better shock to be able to stiffen up the ride some. I'm thinking the other direction, would it help with the bump compliance on the road? The factory seems to be pretty harsh on any hits of say over an inch, almost feels like the high speed is little too slow on it.

If it is a street bike, I'd settle on getting a suspension expert to set the bike up for you. Most aftermarket shocks aren't going to give you a plush ride, unless they are severely undersprung which can be dangerous. For an average street rider, adjusted clickers and solid tires are all you need, otherwise you bought the wrong bike.

Not really in need of an expert, I"m pretty good with suspension. The issue with this bike is the rear isn't adjustable so I'm stuck with compression valving tune they configured factory. Guess I'm not the average street rider because I am looking at little more adjustability on the rear and was just inquiring to see if someone who completed the swap had good luck with it. I'll be swapping this one out at end of year for something with compression adjustment when I change oil in the front works.
