R7 Tool Kit

2510 Views 11 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  CBelley
I just bought my R7 2 weeks ago and while getting to know the bike, I noticed it didn't come with an OEM Tool Kit under the pillion seat. All there was was the owners manual. Is this standard?

This is my first bike I've bought from a dealer so I'm not sure if they give it to me on my first service.

I think you only get one hex under the seat

I got the complete tool kit, but I did pay 13k for my R7.

Tool kit doesn't fit under the seat so the dealer should've handed it to you.

There is a screwdriver under the main seat, which you can hopefully take off with the hex key.

Here's what you should have. Shock tool might be model specific.

Try taking the rider seat of and see if it's strapped under it like in the pic posted above. The dealer put mine there before delivery, I felt pretty stupid when I went back asking for it. The allen key is under the passenger seat to get the front seat off.
Well that pisses me off. No tool kit AND no manual on my purchase. They told me the manufacture usually hides them off the bike and I just needed to keep looking. In short of pulling the engine out, I've had every fairing off too already. Must be in the oil pan. :/

All items come with the bike. In a box attached to the crate metal structure...I know, I unpacked mine :)
