Day one, Thursday went great. Slightlyn less top speed but more carry speed for me in the corners I felt, I loved the bike. My son felt the same way. We rode a 2007 R6, 2022 R7, and a 2016 R1 on the track Thursday. The R1 was Kyle Wyman's Superstock bike in Motoamerica in 2018, the bike hauls!!!! (when it has a capable rider, not me) That's my son's main track bike, mine was the R6, to be replaced with the R7.

Two groups, 30 minute sessions all day, we were beat, so much rider. 20 ride rs total, our group only had 7. I got passed plenty no matter what I was on.

Great Day Thursday!

Start Friday, New Racer School for me, I'm doing it on the R7, why not. Great first session, everything felt great, bike was flawless, I was riding my okayish. Second session, feeling good, on the R7, three laps I'm Iapproaching two fellow New Racer class mates coming up on a turn, over a bump. When I pass the back end is still in the air as I begin to brake for the coming turn, backend touches down, bars shake, then bars go lock to lock, I'm knocked out on the ground sliding straight through the turn at about 95mph. The people I passed said later it looked "REALLY WIERD", that's all they could say. Nothing they had seen before. I was awake by the time the ambulance got to me, awake and a,ert, vitals good, they dropped me off at camp. I'm done riding. Bike is pretty good, just right side plastic damage, helmet f'd, a glove destroyed, Dainese has some holes. Except for the four fractured ribs and collarbone I'm sore but good. Left that night, went to a local hospital by home were I sat for three days of observation but I'm fine. So that's how my last week went.

Part of the fun, right? I'll be back. Oh, Josh Herrin gave us that hat Thursday night!

WOW!! 😳 real sorry to hear about you and the bike. You got some injuries but your alive that’s what matters. The bike can be replaced.

I’d say you track a lot and have the experience so not sure what to say about the wobble… except that I’ve had a small wobble when I reached 134 mph. If you watch my latest video you can see that at the end.. another reason why I slowed down. I think it was from the road changing condition.

But with your accident I just don’t know hmmm. What do you think? Freak accident or a factory issue we should be aware of?

Freak incident on a new bike, overconfidently pushing a fast, complicated pass into 110 degree corner I was overly comfortable with. That's what I'm going with now. Before that, hanging onto the pull of the R1 at 150+ caused plenty of potentially brown pants situations. All respect for those that ride those kind of bikes competently at those speeds and above. 🙌🙌 It ain't me, that's for sure. My son can.

I lost it on a 70-80mph turn, I came over a bump in a unfavored position and wasn't able to slow. I was doing mid 90's because "tHiS wIlL bE a GrEaT pLaCe FoR a PaSs!" Right now, rider error. I F'd up. I had taken that turn at speed 50+ times the day before. I got cocky. The two I was passing were in New Racer School with me, that was why passing. Oops!! Jackass move. Could have easily done it seconds later without issue.
