R7 ECU Flash
Hey Everyone,
I have just ordered the Full System Akropovic Exhaust and looking forward to getting it installed! Looking for some advice/opinions on a ECU Flash. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am relatively inexperienced in this area so open to suggestions and personal experiences. I plan to eventually upgrade the air intake (open to suggestions here as well).

Does getting ECU flashed do long term damage to the bike?
An ECU "flash" makes particular changes to some of the programs that run the motor and accessories (like the temp at which the cooling fan turns on). Properly done, it does no harm to anything other than perhaps increasing emissions.
Not if done by a true professional. Much of it is smoothing out the fuel mapping while eliminating the emission restrictions to reduce noise etc.Thank you, will check out both!
