R7 Battery - AGM vs Lithium weight comparison

The stock battery, the Yuasa YTZ7F(S) is 2.1kg (4.3lbs). 130CCA, 6AH, 113mm x 70mm x 105mm.
You can get a bunch of different Lithium batteries for the R7, the Dynavolt one weights 0.6kg (1.3lbs). So there's a weight saving of 1.5kg (3.3lbs) available if you want to run a lithium battery in your bike.

Other numbers for the battery (according to the Yuasa catalog) are:
SSB - RTX5L-BS
SSB (Lithium) - LFP5L-BS
Motobatt - MBTZ7S
Revplus - STZ7-S
Varta Powersport - VTZ7S
Dynavolt (Lithium) - MLFP7ZS

I have a lithium battery in my bike but it is race only....
Same. I pulled it off a dirt bike with a bent rim. It doesn't need it right now. 🤣

The X5 is only 80 CCA and the Z7 is 130. A "Z" designates lead-calcium and has a higher energy density than the "X" which uses lead-acid. A Z5 should work well as a replacement for an X7 but not an X5 in place of a Z7. LiFePO4 might be ok in a 5 if it has a good battery management system built in. Many LiFePO4 batteries are junk.

I think you're correct for most batteries, the SSB RTX5L-BS is a 195 CCA battery, so I'd have to assume that they have a different naming convention for some reason (they're Australian owned, so it must be upside down).
