Pre 2017 R6 forks will fit in the stock R7 triples. 2017+ R6 forks need a different lower triple clamp. If you care, the fork offset of the R6 triples might not be to your liking. Ideally, you want fork offset with the R7 to be around 26mm, plus or minus no more than 2 mm.
