Hi people

So I’m pretty new to motorcycles and I recently bought myself a R7 and a suad lock phone mount with a usb charger.

But I don’t know how to install the usb charger I looked up on yt how to do it but couldn’t find anyone who does it

So what’s the best way to hook up the Quad lock usb charger?

Quad Lock has a video.

You connect the red and black wired cable rings connectors directly to the battery, Red goes to positive, black to negative. The bike wiring is colored that way. Mount the Quad Lock charger where you want it, run the wire back, I'd go on the left side behind the frame, there is already wires there. Plug the SAE connectors in to each other. Now you have a USB A connection where your Quad Lock mount is.

So I don’t need to take the gas tank cover off then?

I didn't, just the side cover right below the tank, you can stuff and secure it inside the frame from there.
