Oregon rider awaiting delivery.

Thought I would do a intro thread. Just put a deposit down for what looks like a November delivery, so no pics yet. Been a few years since I was on a bike I hate to say. Last was a 2007 600RR (miss that bike). The R7 will probably be 75% track 25%(at most) street for me. So if anyone frequents the Ridge in Shelton, WA, Portland Int, or Utah Motorsports Campus let me know (I am located in Eastern OR). Always a pleasure meeting up with other track riders.

The Ridge is an awesome track. Love the mini-corkscrew.
What color R7 did you order?

Ya, I haven't been back since they added the "new" turn 1. I was living in Tacoma, WA up until last year. I had a few car tracks days planned there right before Covid hit that all got canceled. I had MotoAmerica tickets too, but we ended up moving at the same time.

Oh and had to get Blue!

My dealer just sent me a tease pic. Should be ready to pick up tonight. Unfortunately it has been raining like mad here, so I won't get to ride it for a few days. Just excited it's here.

Well got to bring it home last night. Already put on everything I had acquired for it so far, and this morning the roads were dry enough to take it for a short ride (it's 36 degrees here, and I absolutely hate being cold. 😂😂😂). While I didn't get to really get a feel for it since the tires are brand new, and it is close to freezing out, it was great (except the freezing) to be back on a bike again. Need to move the controls a bit to match up to me, but otherwise great.
Parts added last night:
Woodcraft Frame Silders
Woodcraft Stator Cover
PSR Oil Cap (it comes with a "safety wire thing". It actually wont help it from coming loose, I guess its just for the poser types out there. But the cap is pre-drilled so I will be using actual safety wire on it when it heads to the track next year.
TST Womet Tech Fork sliders
TST GP lifters, and sliders
Tech-Spec tank Grips
Removed the peg "feelers"
Woodcraft Front Triple Stand, and Rear Stands

Ordered a JL Designs rear Light, and fender eliminator, but it hasn't arrived yet.

My pic for the day. Bet you can't tell I am a Rossi fanboy.

Nice. I can relate to the weather. The seasons are in full change mode.
I also have a red Mustang. 🙂

Wow man, do we think alike. This is also parked in the shop:
2016 Track pack Car.
The 2012 is pretty much a track day car. I have a car problem too.
