Hello everyone ! I'm Roman, 29 and from France in the south. Sorry in advance for my english i do my best ! I rode a kawasaki ER6N and a suzuki SV650S and i just ordered my brand new R7 ! In France Yamaha do the launch next week so now we are just a few in all the country to have ordered our bikes, we will receive them around december, january 2022 at worst. I'm grateful and happy to be on this forum it's very important for me because i have nothing to refer to here, people don't know the bike.. i'm searching for cool and race parts through your posts so thanks a lot and keep posting modifications ! I will post pics when i'll receive my bike..

First question i'm asking is : can we install a MT07 exhaust on it ? i think this will be for sure ask a lot lol

Visually, it looks like an MT07 exhaust should fit the R7. Which one would you get?

Welcome and congrats on your incoming R7!

The exhaust mounting bracket for the R7 is different than the MT-07. Your options right now are Yoshimura and Two Brothers R7 exhaust systems. There’s probably a couple more, but those are the two that come to mind. I think Akrapovic is working on one, but it hasn’t been released yet.

Akropovich isn't gonna release it for about another 2 months. Yoshimura was the first to release one (I have it one mine) Graves just released an R7 full exhaust yesterday and there is also 1 more on RevZilla website. But that's about it as of right now
