So I just read the CCS rule book and it appears we need aftermarket case covers. I did a google search but not finding anything in stock. Scheduled to get my race license next weekend and was considering racing that same weekend. Anyone have a lead on in stock case covers that will qualify for protection? Or sliders that can be mounted to the OEM covers?

I used GB Racing covers, they were pretty easy to get and given the amount of bikes using the same engine I would hope they are somewhat readily available.

For your other question, the kickstand, did you get that sorted. It is typically a normally open switch, closed when the kickstand is up. That is what the schematic shows as well. I was going to verify with a meter yesterday but it was raining. So you should be able to connect the wires together, that is all the plug that is being sold for this does. Just disconnecting the wire would be too easy. LOL

Funny I ordered the GB Racing covers this morning. Only to find out after making payment that's when they show on backorder. So I'll have to keep looking for those. In regards to the kickstand switch I haven't done it yet. I was hoping someone else would be the first. Usually what I would do it just take the kickstand off cut the wire that was previously attached. Close that loop then plug it back in and zip tie or safety wire. Just wanted to ensure technology hadn't advanced too much in the 15+ yrs since I've done it. :D

I just checked the kickstand switch with a meter, the switch is closed when the kickstand is up so yes, you still want to connect the wires.
Perfect, 0 advancements in kickstand sensing technology for over a decade. Just the way I like it. Thanks for verifying. Oh and STG had the covers in stock in case anyone else is looking.
