I don't think I've introduced myself yet, but I've had the bike since late July, and am enjoying it more and more. What is thoroughly intoxicating is the torque, the Instant-On from 4K or even lower. It doesn't have the upper-end hit like my old R6, but it just builds wonderfully.
I'm thinking about a pipe, mainly because it's hard to hear the engine while on the freeway, even worse if it's windy. But even stock, it's nice and throaty if the revs are up, not quite like a Duck but not too far off, at least to my ancient ears.
The riding position continues to be challenging, though I've been adapting a bit better. I'm 5'6-1/2", and the high seat, high pegs and low bars are a challenge to keeping my head up on surface streets. I'll be looking into higher bars.
Mileage is fine, but the tank seems a bit small; also, I'm not sure how reliable the 'gas gauge' bars are, on the dashboard.
Haven't yet tested the ABS at either end, as I haven't found a place where I'd feel comfortable doing so.
I'm having to get used to the quick turning, sharper I think than the R6-- too quick at times, in fact.
I didn't have a bike for three years, and am enjoying the R7 more and more by the week! And I am grateful to this forum, for the information that is so readily available. Thank you, everyone!
