Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding the bolt for the handle bar, specifically the top bolt that secures the stock clip-on ( This small back cover bolt) for the break handle.(red circle)

I'd like to know if I unscrew this bolt & leave it unscrewed with just the main bolt (blue circle) if there would be any issue with that? Reason being is I'm a tall rider (6"2) and want to push the break handle forward a bit so that the handle is perpendicular with my hands knuckles.

Aftermarket clip ons don't use that bolt, so I would think you'd be fine. Just take care with positioning both bars to the same angle and make sure you have enough clearance to get full movement on the bars without hitting the fairing (or tank going the opposite way).

I pushed my bars forward some & like the position, but I'm also running a wider set of Woodcraft clip ons.

Ah brilliant - this was my thinking although wanted to be sure.

Thanks so much!
