Surprised you were able to find the Yamaha fender kit. It looks to be out of stock everywhere. I’ve been debating on pre-ordering the Yoshimura one, but it’s about the same price.

There is a guy on YouTube, who switched out the tail light with an integrated R6 one, and shows it working. I think his username is Grays Customs.

Hey all! I thought I'd share a few things I've done thus far, especially pointing out lessons learned.

1) TechSpec tank grips - great quality and easy install. Link here > YAMAHA R7 (2021-Current) SnakeSkin Tank Grips: Free Center Tank Protector Included

2) TST Flush Mount front blinkers - super easy install, super cheap ($20) I didn't even take the fairing off, just the blue strip above it / under handlebars. ALSO, I just hardwired them because the adapter (costs extra) they sent was wrong lol

3) Integrated Tail Light - this allowed me to ditch the rear blinkers entirely because they're built into the brake light which is super bright and has a quick strobe effect. It made the bike much cleaner aesthetically. HOWEVER, if you order the X-blast ones on Amazon I will warn that some of these are defective. The cover for mine fell off, luckily I was at home when it happened.. but the seller was a jerk and wouldn't take it back.. so I glued it back on and got a 100% refund from Amazon.. JL Designs has a great one too but it's hardwired if you care. Link here > Home — JL Designs - Custom Parts - Tail light / Fender Eliminator kits

4) Tail Tidy - DO NOT buy cheap Amazon junk. I initially had a Xitomer $35 Amazon one and it had gaps that let water into the tail compartment where the wiring and computer is.. horrible design flaws. So, I returned that and put on one from JL Design (link here again > Home — JL Designs - Custom Parts - Tail light / Fender Eliminator kits). They have amazing customer service, it seals great, is able to pivot/adjust but holds insanely tight. AND the LED light is flush and bright. I was actually rear ended and it held up flawlessly but I lost a bolt. They sent me another two bolts free of charge!

Nice… to be in Hawaii we are not allowed to mount those … it won’t pass inspection
