Fender eliminators/license plate tuck

Hello everyone, I’ve been lurking here on and off for the past year. So I have a very lovely R7 that I’ve been wanting to get a fender eliminator for but I want to get one that allows me to relocate my license plate a bit more under the tail for reasons that totally don’t have anything to do with the fastrak hahaha 👀at first I was looking at the yoshimura one but it’s more important that I have something that tucks the plate away. I’ve seen different styles on other Yamahas out there, just not sure what brand they are.

007Plate has a carbon fiber one that also a plate flipper in one. Super easy to install too, only 1 bolt and 2 wires.

Got mine from New Rage Cycles. I was probably the very first to get one and have it on my R7 two versions available. Standard and tucked. Mine is tucked and includes turn signals.

Some of those look real good, but So Cal law enforcement have used the spacing of the turn signals as the probable cause to pull over or question riders suspected of gooning up or big groups congregating in the canyons. If the signals are too close and you are violating vehicle code equipment regulations. This happened recently, that was certainly a new twist. 🤷‍♂️ Hopefully not an ongoing dealio.

Yeah just reading an article on that. One stature is 9 inches apart and the other is 16" after 1973. OR/WA just says they have to be able to visibly see a difference between L/R from 500ft away

Cops gotta be pretty bored to pull people over for that. Unless one is drawing attention to himself. 😄

Minnesota requires a front automotive plate. I haven't had on on any of my fun cars (Corvette, GT350) in over 12 years.
Not one issue.

As Torch said, I'm here in Colorado, and same, front plates required as well, haven't been bothered.

I can't believe I forgot the new rage, I have that on both my r6 and r1. The plate is pretty tucked, and have had no issues.

Go New Rage, easy install, factory style connectors.

I think I've noticed on your r1 you have the red seat cowl, does it match the red on the tank? And does it look like it belongs?

I have been waiting on mine for 6 months.

Ok, sounds good, I figured I would keep it coming once I traded the r7 in for the r1. Just tired of waiting and was thinking of getting whichever one is available and maybe wrapping it in the same red as the decals on the tail section or painting it to match the white.

Would it be to much to ask to get a full pic front to back.

Yeah I was initially going to order an R7 but they already had 3 on order spoken for. But when they told me the R1 hadn't been spoken for yet, so I shoved my money in their face. 😆

Thanks for the pics, it doesn't look bad, I was worried it would be to much red on the tail section
Yamaha should have did it white and then continued the read stipe with the black down the center, hmmmmmm might have to think about that.

After looking at your sig, be glad it worked out that way, I don't think you would have been happy with it.

That was my issue. It was fun at first, that quickly went away.

Lmao got the latest update ever but I did end up going new rage. It was quick and easy to install and it looks really good I’m super happy with it. Torchsport your R1 looks amazing! I’ve been wanting to get the red seat cowl for mine but they’ve been out of stock unfortunately.
This is one of the only pics I have of after the install, I daily it and work long hours so I don’t really get much time to have photo shoots haha 🥲🥲
