Exhaust options!

So the only two model specific options are Two Brothers and Yoshi?

And the other option is possible fitment of MT07 kits which are abundant. The likes of Akra, Mivv, Arrow, SC Project, Spark, Termigoni, Zard, M4, Black Widow, Ixil, Toce, and so on.

Unfortunately there's not much information available on which kits fit with minimal or no modification.

I reached out to Mivv and Spark. I'll update soon.

If I were to take one for the team and purchase a kit to test which would you all want to see the most?

Spark Grid-0?
Mivv GP Pro?
Arrow Thunder?
SC Project CR-T or SC1-S?

(Spark actually markets a Grid-0 system for the R7)

I’d say try the SC project exhausts. The Akra fits but requires some modifications. I emailed them and they also said their R7 specific exhaust will release late October. The 2 Amazon exhausts fit such as the Ransoto and No-Brand ones. I have the latter and will have a review posted on here

I'm undecided. The five pipe I listed all sound amazing.

I think the Arrow Street Thunder is probably the most restrictive.

The SC CRT being the least.

The Spark is the most unique. As is the Mivv. Nobody rocks Mivv products in the states.

Yeah. It sounds good too, and I'm sure it's good for a few extra ponies with an air filter and tune.

Akra has announced that the r7 kit will be released soon. No specific date yet.

Agreed. The loop style pipe is designed to increase low end torque. I hope Akra releases a kit with a loop design.

The Spark Grid-0 kit uses the loop design. Not sure if I Iike the sound though, too high pitched, but this is based of one video.

Maybe Akra will produce a looping pipe that maintains that nasty guttural growl.

I was at the shop yesterday where I got my R7. He said he showed they can order a full exhaust for the R7 now from Graves. He said about $1,295 plus another $399 for the power commander.

I wasn’t planning on doing until my first service, so I didn’t get an part numbers. I will see if I can get some info.

There's a channel on youtube called Motonosity. He fitted his R7 with the SC-Project CR-T kit for the MT07. It bolts up perfectly without any modification. 10 lbs of weight reduction and it sounds filthy! Gonna wait until Akra releases their kit before I bite, but I'll definitely be installing one of the two. Filter and tune as well.

Scope the video. It sounds vicious!

Akra now has a system available. The Racing Line Titanium and it's EC / ECE. Full cat... bummer! It looks more restrictive than CR-T can style.

This looks great!! I like the low profile design, one of the elements of the R7 I like. I’m not a fan of big can exhausts. The new Akra model specific exhaust too low and comes up too high. If I can’t get an a good aftermarket exhaust that maintains the stock low-profile look, than I would stick with the stock system. Looks at more important than sound and a few extra ponies to me at this point. I get it for those who want more power, but if you can add more power and keep the look like this one, I’m in!!

Have a single pipe model called GP1 and also a R1M style exhaust super lightweight titanium, will name it the R7M

Was supposed to do final fitment for the R7M today but will likely be this weekend now.

Not sure of the selling/advertising rules here, but I will be listing these for sale very soon!
