Howdy guys,

I'm noticing that my R7's motor is pretty clattery the first few miles of every ride, even after I let it first warm up to operating temp before heading out (tends to read around 176° F or so). It seems to quiet down a bit several miles into the ride. It has about 800 or so miles on the bike and has done this since mile 1.

First oil/filter change around 610 miles, and the oil was dirty and dark as any break in oil is to be expected. I shined a light into the oil and didn't see much metal flake that would concern me either. So I am not alarmed there.

Its just an observation that seems a little out of place. If its going to make that noise even at operating temp, I would expect the noise to stay there during the ride, not go away. Wondering if others have noticed/identified this kind of thing on their R7/MT-07. If folks chime in that this is a normal thing, so be it. I won't have any further concerns over it.

Thanks in advance!

Mine does the same, it'll go away eventually it's just a new bike and everything is getting broken in. If it's still there after say 1k miles then I'd be concerned for sure. But as of right now the bikes still very new. Mine only has 160 miles and the. Clanking and noises are just starting, but they will go away brother don't worry and congrats on the bike I seriously love mine!!!
