Got my bike few weeks ago and have started my baseline tuning. Still need to get a good 500 miles to get it properly established but I will update as the miles go.

I'm about 215 with helmet and jacket on

I'm currently setting at 30 mm of sag on the fork and that's with factory preload, I have the compression at 9 clicks from out from closed; the Rebound set at 4 clicks out from closed position. I slid the tubes up to the 10mm of fork tube showing above the top clamp. My first ride the bike was little slow to steer at about 40mph, I measured about 6.5mm showing from factory so decided to move it after watching Dave's suggestions. I think when I get my head stand, this might have to go back to about 9mm, it' doesn't oversteer really but it wonders just little more than it should in the tire groves on the road

The rear I took all of the preload off of the shock and it still just barely has any static sag, like few mm's. The rebound I"m currently at 1 turn out from closed position. Rear seems just a little harsh on the road, so I went down to 37psi on rear tire and that helped a little. I'm sure it will loosen up some as it breaks in more but it seems like the compression is a tad slow for street. Right now my rear sag is measuring about 30mm

Okay quick update. I thought I might need to drop the forks back down 1-2 mm and I went and filled the bike up with gas and it slowed the handling back down to where I want it. Funny how much difference it feels between a full tank and empty tank.

UPDATE. This is for street riding and not aggressive street riding. Took the rear shock out 1/4 less rebound and lowered tire pressure in the rear down to 35 and that took some of the bite out of the bumps in the road. I also reduced the compression on fork the last two clicks down to nothing since I still have travel left to use. However that did the the fork a little dull feeling. Still handling good in the corners

FORK, factory 5 turns in from full out on preload, COMPRESSION full open, REBOUND 4 clicks out from closed and this is giving me 30mm of sag on the fork 36 PSI front tire. 10mm of fork tube showing above the clamp.

SHOCK, went down to zero preload on shock as baseline to get some static movement on the rear, REBOUND is now 1 1/4 turn out from closed went down to 35 psi on rear tire. About 28mm of sag now which increased from 26 when I started so spring is settling in.
