Recently joined Yamaha R7 group on Facebook and saw that 2 of the R7 was stolen in one week in San Diego CA. Now living in San Diego has it's perk but living close to the border has somewhat of it's downside. Once your bike is in mexico it's long gone.
So what is good deterent for thieves? Disc lock, chain and or shock sensor alarm any worth it?

Install was ok once I figured what wires I needed. No pager, have the scorpio pager alarm for my r3. It was annoying to have to charge the remote weekly. I do miss the perimeter sensor it had.
