I think I'm done modding my R7 unless I find something that really grabs me. Here is everything I've installed so far. Everything was easy to install and can be reversed if needed. I will try to add pictures later if anyone's interested.

1. Yamaha Quick Shifter Kit, $155. There have been mixed reviews of the quick shifter, not everyone likes it which may be why it's not installed from the factory. I ordered mine as soon as I got my R7 and had to wait three months but it was worth it. This is my favorite mod! Yes, you can shift without the clutch the way the bike comes, but the quickshifter cuts the ignition for a very short period of time, which is all that you need to shift. Hence the name QUICK SHIFTER! It's quick. Quicker than you can do without it. It's like a good automatic in a car or maybe a SMG. Easy to install, just make sure to measure the installed shifter per the instructions it should be 280mm center to center.

2. Superbike Unlimited ECU reflash, $235. I was skeptical but with all the positive comments I wanted to try it anyway. So glad I did! It's like getting a new bike, everything is smoother and freer revving. Maybe a little more power too. Hard to describe but was convinced as soon as I started riding that it was worth it. When you first reinstall the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) the check engine light comes on, it will turn off after two run cycles. I combined it with mod number 3 below so I can't say the feeling of more power came from this or the air filter and cover...

3. DNA air filter and cover. Yes, I paid $180 for a flippin' air filter! I removed the 90 degree intake snorkel at first, makes the engine sound a little bassier or maybe it's just my imagination. Anyway, a less restrictive filter and a larger opening can't hurt, right? They say in their documentation you must get an ECU reflash or you will get a lean condition. So I did mods 2 and 3 at the same time.

4. Yoshimura Full Carbon full exhaust system $796. When I first got my bike our neighbor said, did you get a bike? Because I didn't HEAR anything! If that isn't a sign I don't know what is. Because of the way the original exhaust is made, with built in cat and pipes that are not round, a slip on is not practical, so you have to replace the whole system. There are many fine systems for sale and Yoshi is just one of them. Very high quality, very easy to install. The package includes a baffle which I installed right away, because I love my neighbors and I want to keep what little hearing I have left. It sounds like a motorcycle should.

5. TST Fender Eliminator, license plate bracket and front turn signals $176 total. This is the first mod I did. I must admit I was a little squeamish about taking apart my brand new bike but youtube videos are your friend, right? It's just a little thing but I felt like I accomplished something, a good feeling, and of course the bike looks better without that clunky rear fender. Again, all high quality stuff, well made and well thought out. I was surprised how nicely those front turn signals clean up the appearance of the bike overall. It really looks great! One thing that bugged me, when sitting on the bike I could see the turn signals from inside the bodywork. I sprayed the backs with some rubberized undercoating.

6. Custom LED Blaster-X Taillight $139. If you eliminate the rear fender, what are you going to do for turn signals? This taillight is the answer, it has built in turn signals, and as a bonus it flashes the brake light 4 times quickly before it stays on solid. Gets people's attention when you hit the brakes. I know because riders behind me gave positive comments on it. Easy to install, just plugs in.

Honorable mention: Not really a mod but still fun, AKASO V50 camera, $99 plus helmet mount hardware. I've made one video so far. Need somewhere more scenic to ride, and less traffic. Hey, don't we all!

Hi!

Awesome bike! Love the mods.

I just picked up a 2023 Intensity White R7, QS is an unbelievable mod, it has changed my life !!!

Interesting point you make regarding the air filter, I ordered a full exhaust (Leo Vince) and did not even think twice about the air filter, which is silly on my part. Thank you for mentioning it!!

Cheers!

What are your impressions with Leo Vince? I am trying to find exhaust right now. I love deep sound without stupid buzzing that comes with short pipes.
I am just starting adding mods to my blue 2022.

Wow, it is Awesome! The Leo Vince I got is the:
LV One Evo Exhaust System - Stainless Steel

Very nice deep sound, no buzzing that I can hear. Also, quiet enough to hear my music and still hear the rumble of the exhaust! I have not gotten a tune, yet. Within the next few weeks. I was surprised that when downshifting I get a nice little rumble / Pop. Mind you this was all with the DB killer still in.

I have since, removed the DB Killer, and of course did get louder. I will note that, there is more a drone to it, more at higher speeds, still can hear music, and of course downshifting the sound is crazy cool!

With this exhaust, the screw is welded in, so I need to drill the welds to remove the screw, which was fairly easy.

For the rides that I will be taking with this bike, I will be keeping the DB Killer out, sounds to good. Longer, rides well can easily put the DB killer back in, simple

Two Wheels Down (ride safe)

Cheers!

Sorry, one more thing. The install took me about an hour, stock exhaust like four bolts, fit perfect, no adjustments needed!
