First bike with ABS. Feels like the rear brake is kicking my foot under light braking. No issues while hard braking or trail braking. Only when stopping. Is this normal? I’ve read through a bunch of ABS delete posts but no one really describes the issue. Any info appreciated.

mine has randomly been doing the same thing. I don't know why either seems more city stops

That's crazy. Pro riders say that the only time the ABS even engages is when they brake super hard on track. 400 miles with a handful of hard stops and I've never felt ABS pulsation or any feedback on the pedal.

You’re saying it only happens under light braking? That definitely sounds odd.

UPDATE- I took the bike to the shop, service guy rode it down the street and said there’s nothing wrong with it. He said ABS engaged when it was supposed to and that I shouldn’t rest my foot on the pedal when braking. I don’t get it, I’m braking the same way I do on my R1 and I’ve never locked up the rear tire. Seems like BS too me, I asked him how many R7’s he’d ridden and he says this is his first. I was like, so how do you know there’s nothing wrong if you have nothing to compare it too?

Hey man just got a 2023 r7 and I notice this happening too. its kind of weird and concerning... have you found any information on this since the initial post?
