So after getting the bike patient up with the 60th anniversary color scheme and mounting Innovv K5 cameras I've been working on my theme for the videos. Let me know what you guys think of the overlays.
I like the layout and the data, I'd probably want the lap time list 1/2 height so you can see through right turns. So after getting the bike patient up with the 60th anniversary color scheme and mounting Innovv K5 cameras I've been working on my theme for the videos. Yeah that one is the hardest because I’d like to see multiple laps at once but when you do that it takes up a lot of space. I’ll probably play around with it once I have actual track footage to see what it looks like. This was obviously just testing riding around my neighborhood a few times.I like the layout and the data, I'd probably want the lap time list 1/2 height so you can see through right turns.
Great minds think alike. The paint scheme is cool for sure. I am probably going to have to paint my wheels. I had an order that they claimed was going to ship on the 18th that date came and went and they had no revised ship date. So far it’s sounding like January before the gold wheels would be available. So off to paint the wheels I go.I showed pics of your bike to the west coast sales manager for Yamaha last weekend, he was pissed (not really).
THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO DO WITH IT!
He said that while we were standing in between a 60th Anniversary R1 and R7. 🤣🤣

I mentioned you wanted GYTR exhaust and other stuff, he said it will be a bit. 🤷♂️ And he did notice the blue wheels immediately. 🤣 He was "trying" to talk me into R days in Sonoma. Dude, you don't have to sell me on that, I'll be there!Oh and my “friend” knows I’m waiting on the exhaust so he proceeds to send me this. 😡 it’s right there, but I can’t have the exhaust View attachment 447
It was much shorter though, the can and the midpipe. He said they have found a longer midpipe helps a lot.I mentioned you wanted GYTR exhaust and other stuff, he said it will be a bit. 🤷♂️ And he did notice the blue wheels immediately. 🤣 He was "trying" to talk me into R days in Sonoma. They had the Herrin R7 mockup out, it had an Akro that fits with the Sharkskins.
I’m trying to be patient and focus on my trailer setup to take my mind off of this. I was on a roll and excited when I thought the wheels were coming. Luckily I have an off-season so it’s not like it’s being seen at the track with blue wheels and no belly pan. 😆It was much shorter though, the can and the midpipe. I only took the anchor off to put a Yosh R77 on.I’m trying to be patient and focus on my trailer setup to take my mind off of this. I was on a roll and excited when I thought the wheels were coming. 🤞 2022 will start showing availability for at least some things. BTW If you haven’t taken your stock exhaust off yet don’t. I did that assuming I’d be able to get this by the time I was done painting. Let me tell you that boat anchor one piece design SUCKS! Trying to get that back on there was a nightmare.
Does that clear the belly pan? Also looks like a slip on, how does a slip-on work when the exhaust is all one piece?I only took the anchor off to put a Yosh R77 on.
I have the full exhaust, but I haven't looked at it closely to see if it could have been mounted higher. I wish I took pics of the Herrin mocked R7, it did have a small half circle cut out of the belly pan for the pipe clearance. I think it's the same bike as on the Sharkskins page with the full kit and made up with Attack Perf and Fresh and Lean. Close enough, you can just tell there is a cut out. Is that the way yours came? That bike has the same setup, exhaust, rear set, etc, just slightly different stickers now.Does that clear the belly pan? I looked at one of your pics, I can see them come with that cut out.I have the full exhaust, but I haven't looked at it closely to see if it could have been mounted higher. Yes my sharkskinz came with a small cut out. But when I looked at the design of the R77 it didn’t look like that would be enough. So keep me posted if you find out that the R77 does clear the belly pan without any additional cutting.I have the full exhaust, but I haven't looked at it closely to see if it could have been mounted higher.
